First weekend in the hospital

Babies are doing great!  They are hooked up to monitors twice a day to track their heart beats and activity and they always pass.  They love to give the nurses a hard time by kicking the trackers off.  I warn each new nurse before she starts and sure enough she is back within 10 mins to put it back. Smile

Russ has been here since Thursday hanging out with me.  He brought lots of snacks and of course the XBox!  We have been using it to watch movies on Hulu and Amazon and so far it has been a life saver. The only thing missing is my puppies.

My nurse noticed that my IV was leaking this morning as she was flushing it out so I asked does that mean no more IV.  The doctor gave the okay for her to remove it and to check to see if my other veins are easy to get to in case of an emergency.  And they are so that means NOOOOOOOOOOO IV for right now!!!  that was the best thing I heard all weekend!!!!!!!!!

I was able to leave the floor for a short time (via wheelchair only) to drop off Nathan and Kaleb’s birthday donation from Grandma and Zayda to the NICU RMH. And of course you know how well of a wheelchair driver Russ is!oh and not to mention the couple times turning corners he took me up on two wheels.  Lets just say I was SUPER dizzy by the time I got back to my room.  He wanted to take me for another wheelchair ride today but I declined lol.
