Nathan was getting a little tired from working so hard on breathing on his own with the c-pap, so he was put back on the ventilator at 4:30 this morning. The doctor said that’s okay, he tried and did great he is still really little so it’s going to take some time.
Mommy has a doctors appointment today, and Nathan is going to behave for Allison while we are gone.
Daddy’s job was to hold Nathan while Tracy (one of our favorite night nurses) changed out the blankets.
The boys vitals are stable and they are napping. I told them their only job is to grow 
We will post any changes as soon as we can.
Both boys are getting picc lines this afternoon. Nathan already has one, but two ports of access is needed now since the IVs aren’t lasting. Kaleb doesn’t have one so they are going to try to insert one today with 2 ports just like his brother.
More updates later today after the procedures.
I got to help do the Sunday night routine!! (Diaper change, measure his length and head, change his blanket that is under him)
We have had a good day! Some good changes have been made and LOTS of visitors today.
Update on Kaleb!
* Kaleb’s oxygen was bumped back to to 100% during the night (was at 23% when we went to bed) and they have already started working on lowering it.
* His white blood cell count was off so he received antibiotics this morning to reduce risks of an infection.
