We have had a good day! Some good changes have been made and LOTS of visitors today.

Kaleb

* Oxygen is down to 91% from 100% (he is working hard to get it back down)

* Received blood products and blood

* Had x-ray done in the AM and it looked good

* Photo therapy blanket (smurf blanket) was REMOVED!!!

* Switched from dopamine to fentanyl

* Going to talk to the pick team tomorrow about Kaleb a PICC line like Nathan has. The nurses will be able to give him his medicine much easier.

Nathan

* Ventilation support sent down a little overnight to 21%

* Gained 5 more grams!

* Hasn’t received any blood products in over 36 hours!!!

* Still has his patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) heart murmur

* Dopamine has been lowered from 15 to 13

* They are working on weaning him down on his oxygen to get him ready for another try at the c-pap

* Had an x-ray in the AM and it looked good

* Surgeon pulled out his tube a tad more this morning

The boys had a lot of new visitors today! Aunt Shannon, Aunt Patty, Aunt Jere, Uncle Mike, Bill & Maggie Hull, David Tolkov and his mom, and Grandma!!

Aunt Jere and Uncle Mike brought Niko Niko’s (awesome Greek food) for lunch and Shaadi and his wonderful wife brought us Skeeters for dinner! We really do appreciate it, it’s nice to have something besides what is being served in the Cafe .  THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!

The Ray’s sent the boys some really cute cowboy boot socks down with grandma. I can’t wait till I can dress them up
