  1. Russ & Susan,
Nathan, Kaleb and you both are in Kim & my prayers. It’s hard to understand the “why” but God has brought these beautiful two babies to you in this challenging way for a purpose that is beyond us to understand. Each of you will be stronger as a result of this experience. I know you will sincerely appreciate the little blessings that most of us take for granted on a day in day out basis. This has to be a really hard time. Please know that you are loved by God, Jesus, the holy spirit, family and friends (including me). Please make sure to take break for yourself as each of you has to be physically strong for Kaleb & Nathan, in addition to each other. Progress is slow but it’s good to see them both grow a little stronger each day. Don’t look for progress every day, but instead look back to a week earlier and you will recognize the improvement.

Please let me know if Kim or I can do anything to be of help. The four of you remain in our prayers!
    Love,
    Michael & Kim O’Brien

    • Michael & Kim,

We can’t thank you enough for your kind & motivational words, and prayers during these difficult times. We really do appreciate it.

  2. Russ & Susan, the Wissings are & will remain in a constant state of prayer for Kaleb & Nathan, but also for you two. There is a reason for all of this and I believe God wants to do a miracle in all 4 of your lives, mostly He wants a relationship with you guys. I think a lot of us want to help but are not sure what you really need. Can I ask that you comment back on some of those things? They can be as small as dinner or as big as Financial support. We love you guys and I know everyone wants to help. How about visitations? what is best for you guys? Would you like someone to sit with the boys so that you both can go home and get some rest or just spend some time together? Please blog on your guys needs so that your friends can help other than prayers…. 🙂

    • Hey Wissings, thanks for your constant prayer for the boys and us. We really do appreciate that. Visitors can come pretty much anytime, just call, e-mail, or text before you do. Our cell signal is very weak in the hospital (the nurses say it’s an AT&T only thing) so the more advanced notice you can give us the better, but we’re always here. As far as helping, we’re continually updating our baby registry page on this blog with things that will help out. We really do appreciate it, and look forward to introducing you all to the boys soon!

      Kind regards,
      Susan, Russ, Kaleb, & Nathan

  3. Hello Cheesmans! I do remember you all from the V days! Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers, we can really use them all. I do agree about the nose area being very gramps like. They’ll definitely have a good sense of smell! Thanks again, and we appreciate the well wishes. Keep in touch!

  4. Russ-we used to be your Dad’s and Carol’s neighbors on V streer. It was amazing to see how you have grown into such a handsom man. Congratulations on the birth of your fine sons. They will be so much fun in the future. Right now is a very scary time and we are sending prayers for their good health and strength. We also hope you both will find the strength to be strong for the boys and doctors and nurses caring for them. What a wonderful blessing. I noticed the took after their “Gramps” in the nose area.
